Little Sister's festive pop-up Java Jingle is back and bigger than ever

In lieu of a visit to Santa's actual workshop, a jolly jaunt to one of Toronto's festive pop-up bars is one of the most merry things you can do over the holidays. One of the city's best, Java Jingle in Little Sister Dutch Indo Food Bar, is back for its third year — and it's bigger than ever.

The Portland Street location has transformed both floors into a holiday wonderland this year due to popular demand. Until the first week of January, Java Jingle will be shaking up cheery and cheekily-named concotions, like the blanco tequila-soaked Feliz Navi-Zaddy; the Hot Girl Winter with gin, brandy and red wine; and the gin and St-Germain Sleigh, Queen, Sleigh. There's even a special Bah Humbug menu in the Balinese room on the second floor and a welcoming fireplace.

Bar Batavia at the Yonge Street Little Sister Indonesian Food Bar will once again be completely transformed into Java Jingle.

Alongside the festive cocktails, both Java Jingle locations play a non-stop playlist of holiday music and serve a full food menu. Whether you're gathering with friends to toast to 2023, or just looking for the ultimate dose of merry kitsch in the limbo between Christmas and New Year's Eve, park your sleigh at Java Jingle.
